Realizing a report in the Coptic Orthodox community, this is a project (and a desire) that I had been feeding for a long time, without knowing how to do it. I fed this desire with readings and attention, floating but constant, on the subject, both through the news and the familiarization with their specific culture.

Differentiating what was human and artistic order is impossible to me today. Each photo reminds me just as much of a memory, a sensation, an emotion, as the testimony of what they allowed me to live by their side. I was greeted in a sincere, moving, authentic, caring, confident way. Conscious of this immense and rare privilege which has been granted to me, I hope I have been worthy of it, and have succeeded in rendering a homage to their measure to those men of noble qualities and precious values.
